Heres my entry to gnomons monthly dvd contest. Not really happy with it at the moment, already passed it up but I intend to make a finnished piece out of this. Been looking at a lot of John foster, and James Jean lately and i've been really inspired by their stuff, the design elements the colors and their styles. This is what I've got so far, hope you guys can help me take it to the finnish line as I've never actually done a finnished piece before. Critiques and advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Well I love it. Maybe a little color variation in the background would help make it pop, but it's great anyway.

Thanks Max, yes she's an Ice Princes, however her land has been taken over by the fire king.

Yea this is awesome stuff. I would have to agree with changing the value and/or colors in the background to really make her pop more.
