hey guys. Been working evenings trying to put together some finished portfolio pieces. Heres one i did inspired by a nature reserve on the swedish wescoast.

took about 6 hours.

me too. your style is very... accurate. your strokes seem to be on, and most of the time, it looks pretty realistic in a general sense. good work.

Looks magnificent! I'd like to see the same scene at night,...at a storm,...would be very moody. Could be a wonderful scene of a movie,.....

Svargo> All I can say is practice like hell! As for brushes and such, to be honest I usually just use the normal photoshop ones. Theres some quite nice ones in there if you just load in some of the preset brushes. And theres loads of nice free brushes to be found on the net, and ofcourse you can make your own!

good job. reminds me of cali rezo in some way, except she uses painter if i remember correctly. what ref did you use?

Smething bugs me about the perspective. It's like we are looking down from above at the steps, kinda 45 degrees to the pillars, but directly into the doorway and also off to the horizon at the same time.

I would suggest show a bit more of the front face of the steps, and squish the doorway a bit or perspectivize it so it seems to be more vertical.
