Possibly because, like myself, the novelty value of forums has worn off.

Nothing to do with anyone here (great peeps, great art!). Just that after a couple of years it gets a bit monotonous.

He'll be back...

Wait! You're member number is 6508 and there are only 7375 members. Hmmmm, I can understand how the novelty has worn off for ceenda but you really haven't been around long enough for such dramatics. Unless of course you remade your account in which case I will shut up.

edit: Oh and for the record...there was no hidden meaning behind the saying goodbye. I'm just not checking boards anymore so I left my email for the friends that I made here in case they ever want to say hi or need something. I'd hope they would do the same.

Don't look any further into it then that.

For the guys who ripped me apart--

I guess in a weird way I expected that from you...I've seen you do it countless times before to other people without reason...so it makes sense to see it here too.

Smile guys. Try not to take life so seriously. So much bitterness and frustration built up here.

I don't think people care all that much, but I'll likely be back in 6 months or so. My Dad is deathly ill right now and I have a baby who's coming in less then 2 months -- Some very hard and time-consuming things. I didn't feel it nececery to share this with you though. Still probably shouldn't.

So a lot is going on for reasons I can't check the boards anymore.

Nothing to do with trying to be cool...or whatever else...

...Just life. No more...no less.

Man, some of you guys were kinda mean to mythwarden there. He's been a great contributor at sijun since his first day here. He might not have been here that long, but he was one of the good members. I didn't see anything wrong with him saying goodbye. I thought of it as a gesture of common courtesy.

Loki tends to do that. He likes to point out all the flaws here at Sijun because he regards himself as 'oldschool', but he makes no effort to help change the situation. He doesn't even post work anymore.

I really don't think you're 'qualified' to judge people here at Sijun, Loki.

Some people feel more attached the the forums than others ... and i guess when you feel attached to something, you just need to say goodbye.
The lucky few do get replies when they wave off ... others just get their goodbye topic deleted. LOL...

I'm not entirely sure how I was supposed to take that. I don't know if you were being sarcastic, or if you were being genuine.

If you were being sarcastic, then that was a rather childish reply.

If you were being genuine, then don't be so friggin' hard on yourself! I'm just saying that if you feel Sijun should be different, then contribute to making it that way. You obviously have the talent and respect of tons of the members. I'd imagine every single artist here could learn a thing or two from you. I don't know if your job is so demanding that it drains a lot of your passion away, but it seems that way. Maybe you're just overworked and forgot why you came here in the first place?

I dunno, I'm no psychologist.
