http://www.solostring.com/

His music is goddamned amazing, especially if you take into consideration that it's all improvisation. Straight from the heart. No set sheet music, no planning ahead. His music is innovative (one man string symphony), and electric violin never sounded this good. He plays on the streets of Paris for pocket change, and he is loving it. Support this talented young artist, buy his CD when it's out. And (hopefully) enjoy my artwork on the CD cover. Yes, I'm doing the CD cover, and I'm doing it in exchange for a copy of his CD and nothing more.

Even if the music doesn't interest you, send this information on to your friends, maybe they'll be interested.

Yeah thats some nice stuff.

My fave violin work is by Mark Wood. He put a CD out about 10 years ago called "Voodoo Violence" and I see him turn up in music videos for all sorts of big-name singers from time to time.

Bit Mark's electric violin is different to anything else I've ever heard because he plays it with *distortion*. Like Eddie Van Halen/Steve Vai/Joe Satriani-type distortion. It almost sounds like an electric guitar, but the violin's different method of use gives it a very different feel. If you like electric guitar work I'd definitely recommend checking out Voodoo Violence, it was very different.

Shame he never made a second CD though. Guess it never sold.

Row.
