your sketches are amazing, and your rendering in the back ground is superb, but your character are outlined in black which makes them seem flat as if they're floating off the page, this does look like it would make a good children's book.

I prefer infinitely your pencil work to the color renderings. Too much bright white - the coloring is washed out, and your lightsources are vague and inconsistent. Also, the coloring is very soft and blurry, where some harder edges and definition would really help flesh these illustrations out. The coloring work is flattening the illustrations right now, just cut back on those pure whites and blacks and work some real color and dimension into them. |
