We're a unique generation in that a lot of who we are is documented by the internet. Stupid shit you said when you were some dumb kid, strange pictures of you floating out there in cyberspace, the freaky personal ads you wrote, the flamewars you fought in...etc. And if one day you make it and you are a freaking celebrity--people can just look all that shit up. Scary.

Man o man, the memories.

I haven't even used this nickname for AGES! I don't even have the accompanying email address anymore since I lost it due to inactivity.

But man, I used to spend A LOT of time on here, and I can credit it for inspiring me with so many ideas for my sparse art phase that I went through and still to this day dabble into.

I thank the old-school sijun forum members because it helped me meet new people in life when I moved to a city where I had no connections what-so-ever. Forgive me for soundling like a success story out of an episode of Oprah, but honest to god, I can thank you forum-gnomes for essentially meeting great new friends when I had none at all. It was through the Sijun forums that I got to know a few of you, then I dabbled onto DeviantArt's forums, and eventually found a topic on a Sketch Group Meeting here in the city. Once at the sketch group, I met lots of interesting artists, including some who worked for EA and other game companies.

Long story short, this forum really did make a difference in my life!
