Trying something other than PS-while-high... Pastel study of my backyard from a lawn chair, good experience and I hope to do more of these. Comments welcome

Looks nice. It's got an inviting feeling to it. It'll be cool to see your future works in pastel.

This is really nice.. my only concern is that the shed seems kind of flat, but I suspect its because of the angle you were sitting at. Perhaps I would have angled myself a little to the right in order to get the side of the shed in there a bit.

Otherwise as Critical Pete said, its a very inviting warm picture. You do great with color. something I need to work on myself.

Pete: Thanks man glad you like it

Awe: Thanks a lot man, now that I think about it I definitely agree on the shed - probably should have moved the chair.

Sweet Tinusch, nice to see something completely fresh from you. Inviting is really the best word for it, because it indeed is. The colors and strokes are very appealing, not sure about the composition, but being a study it's still solid. The shed might look flat, don't think it's much of a bother though.

Looking forward to your next post, I always enjoy them very much.
