Haha but to be a little more constructive... This, and the last couple pieces youve posted, seem to be in desperate need of some artistic finesse rather than just filters. effects, and Photoshoppery. Even from a strictly graphical POV, these aren't too appealing to the eye. Firstly, they're all painfully small, but more importantly they lack focus, and in the case of the color pieces seem to be little more than overlaid photos and layer effects. Think focus and composition rather than mouse-click-happy PS magic. And, if nothing else, size them up a little. That said, I do see some obvious graphic design potential buried inside these images. Your text is pretty slick and well-balanced, but it's the images as wholes that aren't clicking. And in all honesty, that really does look like Sasquatch there. I'd say step away from the drop-down menus and just think of basic composition and construction unified pieces that really work. And the only way you can prevent yourself from getting better is to stop trying so keep them coming. |
