I'm more experienced at using traditional media, but I've recently been trying to get a hang of digital techniques. These are some of my early attempts. I think they are rather crudely and insensitively rendered, but that's to be expected when one is learning something new. I would greatly appreciate any comments. The statue of liberty is a 3d Studio MAX rendering, and everything else is either painter or photoshop.

Those are actually rather nice especially the second one.
I don't really like the foreground character in the first image though. |
