Wassup dudes & dudettes!?
This is a momentous occasion for me, I�m posting my first image here 
I�ve been lurking here in Sijun for a couple years now and I finally thought to contribute for the cause. I raise my hat in respect to the awesome skill and dedication that you guys display here in Sijun. I learned a lot from you back when I started with my wacom.
So thank you for that and for all the inspiration you have given me
This image was done a couple days ago as a birthday present for a friend:

Floris: I dug this concept a lot. I hope I'm not being too pretentious, but I wanted to see what it would look like with some quick lasso tool edge adjustments. I think it popped it out more. The busy brush work around the edges of the foreground elements was flattening it out. I hope this helps. because I thought the concept was really awesome. I spent about 5 min of lasso and quick brush work... obviously can be refined more, but I hope you see what I'm pointing at?
Here is the psd so you can turn on and off the layer adjustment to see better what I was talking about. I'll leave it up for a few days.
Like the second one as well.... could maybe use some of the same techniques? lasso tool is phaaaaaat. and I'm only just now discovering how cool it is.
