Anyone seen the movie? I'm a huge Sean Connery fan, and although I'm not quite at the point of saying Daniel Craig is better than Sean Connery, I think he definitely comes closest. At least for me.

After seeing the theaser I wasn't even eager to see the movie however after reading the first good critics I just had to know what could be so special about this Bond. Well, I was quite impressed actually. It hasn't much to do with Bond anymore (wheres all the gadgets???) but it was more relistic and "deep" in a good way.
Eva was fabulous. Nearly as beautiful as in Kingdom of Heaven. Especially the scene where she hasn't any make up on her face. Very nice,...
Seeing her (!!! SPOILER !!!) drowning was very emotional imo. |

definately an awsome movie, it really brings back the hell raising nature of Bond, which is why Im such a fan of Bond movies in general, both of the Aston Martins had me drooling, aswell as Eva Green! |

I've given it the full 3 week digestion period, and I still think it rocked. Easily one of the best Bond movies of all time. Can't wait to see the next one. _________________ QED, sort of. |

Not seen it yet, but really want to. Too bad I can't go watch any movies in theatre without spending a ton of cash and driving an hour or watching the german dubbed one.
Btw. thanks for masking the spoiler so well Max |

I wholeheartedly agree...I think that was the most fun I've had at the movies all year. It kept what was good about Bond and got rid of what made it stupid.
Such a great movie. |

I also think it was a pretty good movie, especially if u compare it to the previous bond efforts. But I miss the gadgets and the bond theme. Bond is what he is. To make it more realistic is ok to a certain degree but take it to far and it is no longer a bond movie. This was pushing it almost a bit to far.
A movie and especially a bond movie can be a bit unrealistic and still be exciting. Im just a bit worried that all the "bond magic" will be gone soon . And he was really cool as Bond. He matched Judi Dench in the scenes they had togther which says alot. |

That movie was great! I loved this more brutal Bond. I never saw how a pansy like Pierce Brosnan could've made it in the spy-world. |

For me the latest bond was just billion times better than I expected. I was really happy to see a bond made the way I would like to do one.
Easily one of the best bonds I've ever seen.

Yeah the new bond is great, i just wish the dude they cast wasnt such a giant mangina. First he can't drive a stick, then he IS DEATHLY AFRAID OF GUNS! Its like dude... grow a fucking ballsack.
I know i shouldn't care what an actor says, but only about the performance he makes, however this kind of shit you'd expect out of a 8 year old girl.

I saw it with my mom back when it was in theaters and my mouth was ajar for the first 15 minutes of the movie. Absolutely amazing.
I kind of wish they had left it in the 60s instead of rebooting the whole thing... however I still can say I enjoyed the movie immensely. |

Bought it. Saw it. Loved it. How James Bond should be. It was very enjoyable. _________________ - Tom Carter

I'm afraid I didn't enjoy Casony Royale: The Sonying (brought to you by Sony).
But then I've never liked Bond movies. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

Danggit Brian - you ruined it fer me.
Not really. I recall going to the cinema to see Moonraker; it was soooo terrible I swore I'd never pay to see a James Bond film again, as they always seem to "jump the shark". I actually found Casino Royal digestible, entertaining, for a change - thought it was quite good. _________________ - Tom Carter

I just watched it last weekend, and it was definitely enjoyable--best Bond movie since the Timothy Dolton days (there were a couple of darker Bond movies during that time which were less flashy and a bit more moody).
It totally makes sense to me that the cheesy spy thing had to evolve in the era of Jason Bourne, because, well, Bourne makes the last few Bond films look like silly cartoons. I would not be surprised if the Bourne films had a direct impact on the decision to do a more realistic Bond. |

I enjoyed the Danish actor mostly. He was a real Evil. I noticed him first in "Dsnische Delikatessen" (at least so was it titled in Germany). |
