Welcome to the Sijun Tiles v4 game.

The official theme of this Sijun Tiles Game is "what may come..."

You may post in this thread to sign up for the game. We still have lots of spots open

You may at all times track the progress of the game by clicking here

Game Rules:

1) There will be 25 tiles altogether. Each tile will be 320x240 pixels. This way when we sew it all together it will equal out to 1600x1200 wallpaper size which can be resized easily.

2) Tiles must be created based on the theme "What may come..."

3) Please keep the tiles content clean (no nudity/swearing/inappropriate imagery/defamation etc.)

4) Tiles will be sent out in the general order of who signs up in the thread unless specially requested otherwise.

5) After I receive the first tiles back I will send the next four with 15 pixel borders of the previously completed tiles. Your job will then be to blend your tile in with the border you are sent. Please be careful not to change any part of the 15 pixel border you receive as that is part of somebody else's tile.

6) I will host the entire project on my web server for everyone to see. Each tile will be posted in its original state. However I reserve the right to make minor adjustments to any tiles that don't quite line up with the edges of the tiles on its borders. But the main content of your tiles will be unaltered.

7) Each participant will have 48 hours, from the time they receive the tile, to complete it and send it back to me. If more time is needed you must let me know before the time runs out or your tile will be assigned to somebody else.

Contest Rules:

The game is complete and teh contest is now closed, with neff taking home the prize. Congratulations neff and thank you everyone for your contributions and patience.

Prizes:

I (Awetopsy)will personally contribute to this contest $15 towards an amazon.com gift certificate for the winner. (although I will probably contribute 1 tile to the game I will not be eligable to win the prize)

I sort of see this as a way to encourage more people to post. Sijun has been around for a while and some of us have been here for a long time. Lets all have some fun with this. If this is successful I cant see any reason there wouldnt be a sijun tiles v.5

** Please be patient with the complete project. As we have seen with each previous Sijun tiles, they take a while to complete. And Im doing this in my spare time... (what I have of it) Hopefully we will have everything done by the end of April.

I like the theme of "strength." Gives everyone a lot of leeway for representation.

What Are Tiles..??
And give us an idea "What may come?"

From what ive gathered, Tiles are really Small paintings all gathered on one really large page.

"What may come" is an idea of the future at a glance.

Am i rite?
