This painting was half-finished and forgoten in one of my folders, so when i found it i decided that it could use some polishing. The person in the painting is a friend of mine and i had a modelshot of her.
From beggining to end it was quite long. Its basically a colored drawing that i drew of from a photo . And no she doesnt have a mechanical arm irl hehehehe, would be cool if she had though.

The process can be seen here.

Looking nice, but I think having the arm in such a different style detracts from the work you've done on the rest - it just make it a bit confusing to look at. The mechanical parts in the small of her back add to the confusion because I'm not sure where they are or what they're connected to.

I agree much with capt fred

im also surprised that since you did so nice speedpaintings, this painting was not much at the same level as speedies. strange huh? maybe we have high requirements on our own woman ideal hehe (and we can spend limitless amount of time for woman bodies)

well i guess the mix of styles doesnt really fit, i wanted to keep her mech arm rough and crude.

This was an older drawing, thought i could save it but nay. So if a moderator sees this thread i would really like to delete it, only embarrases me now.

You could always re-do it from the start and show us what it looks like in your mind Smile

This is looking pretty cool. Even after some adjustments Im still having trouble differentiating the arm and the machinery on her back. I personally like the seemingly two different styles of the pic. I think it adds to the hard/soft contrast of the subject matter.
