Ahoyhoy. I'm Jake, I'm 17, from Australia. Wanted to say hello.
Without further rambling, here are some paintings etc.
Obviously there's issues with composition(my weakest point which I am heavily working on now), and flat colours etc. You might be seeing some of these in an upcoming Issue of ImagineFX which I am doing an interview for. Thanks for your time.

ahoy me matey. welcome aboard ss. sijun.
I just wanted to drop in and say that some of these are very nice. I especially like the technique and color relationships in some of them. I would say that the portraits are a lot stronger than some of your other illustrations. Maybe using reference would help with your non self portraits?
I really dig the last illustration with teh kid and the brain... for some reason it makes me think of that story, "the little prince." If you haven't seen it, look it up.
well, thanks for exposing yourself to us. |

some nice stuff there. first was my fave, followed by the last one. the more stylistic ones dont quite work as well for me, but you're heading the right way. _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials |
