vahnn - THE WEIRDEST THING. right after watching Children of Men, I minimized the movie, and refreshed this page, and i saw that. haha...that's an awesome painting.

Part 2 in my king series. I was originally going to do a full 3d render of this guy, but decided to keep him as a 2d speed painting for the moment.

ah, these pages have been so great. Thanks so much for the positive response everyone.
I liked those wide angle things M@ posted a while back... so I wanted to try one... was so much fun I think I'll do a bunch more.

@ zhuzhu: the strokes in that reffed one with the soldiers are amazing! saved it as my own ref 
@ p-rik, sukhoi = cool compositions
@ sparth: you... you just suck. looking at your pictures makes me spit coffee on my expensive tft and wasting lots of kleenex for my bitter tears
@ Jlpicard: you need to use ref and compair that values to yours
arrr.. sometimes i said to myself: "neff you stupid idiot, stop browsing that damn forum, it makes you sick!" but i do it again and again and again

I will try and post one or two a night, though I am working 10 hours a day. Awesome stuff here, I always stop in to lurk and am humbled.
From a movie still (I'm not religious, It's just practice right?) - 2 hours apx.
