i dunno man, i met Chris Appelhans yesterday at school, talked to the class and showed his work....just really inspiring. so many things i want to try out and think about. So many things i never knew existed.
i still enjoy realism and can still do it fine and dandy, just....exploring and thinking right now.

those copies made me want to have one too:
its amazing what sargent does with a few simple planes. unfortunately all i have is bad reproductions. i was at tate/london last summer, saw the originals for the first time. i doubt they have *any* sargents in my country at all. 
cicinimo: great copies! where is the rest of the zorn picture? cropped?
octavian: i was rotfl when i saw your sargent interpretation. you should do a series of those! |
