just playin' around with the mouse a lil' bit....and did this ...

Here's a little crit...Tones around the face are a bit muddied. Take another approach to the colour choices there. Consider tightening up some edges, atm most of your edges of forms are a bit blurry (edges can be both outside silhouette and internal lines). It is ok to have some forms with soft edges, due to light or surface qualities etc... but others need to be sharper to suggest more abrupt changes in form (shapes which curve quickly) or overlapping forms. Overall the piece has a nice feel. I can see a lot of potential particularly in the colour scheme your going for.

I liked the colours in the first version more. I think the first one worked really well.

Yeah the light is more natural in the first one.

the nose seems to be pointing too much to the left(our left) and thus makes it look a little strange, you could either change this or just change the eyes so that they are also on a 3/4 view(right now they both seem to be on a straight on front view

I like the improvements, the latest is nice... still some issues like the nose being a bit out of perspective but overall a successful painting, the feeling is portrayed very well and that's something which is much harder to develop than technique.
