I just ordered this case a few minutes ago for my home setup. Anyone into case-modding at all?

Well - since you ordered this case you're more into 'case buying' than modding ...
I installed a top fan inh my Antec tower - damn - that case metal was hard to punch a hole in - but it worked - and cools like a charm ... |

I started modding an empty case I bought WAY ago, but I have yet to continue and finish it... |

Not exactly Loki, I've modded a couple cases myself in a rather novice manner. I just wanted something that was professionally done and far more advanced than my small brain could handle. Water-cooled, baby. |

My only true case mod is installing a mineral tile "muffler" in my linux box really quiet but a little hot..
Those case mods look really noisy |

ps - dig around on the site, there's quite a few novel mods there.

Coaster, the one I ordered is perfectly silent. No noise at all. Water cooling pumps don't even buzz.
Pat, those are hilarious. Hahah, thanks for the link. |

I agree with loki, it's a cool case, but you didn't do any actual modding, at least none that you mention. |

I am into it, usually buy my cases from colorcases.com first then MOD after that. |

D3wd, if you bought a pre-made case with mods doesn't mean you're into case modding eheheh, it means you bought a pre-made modded case :0 |

Did I say I was into case modding? No. I asked if ANYONE is into case modding.
Reading works wonders for comprehension. |

pixel, no one was insulting you so calm down, but the title is misleading, even if you didn't explicitly say you modded, it is assumed (by me and obviously by comments a few others) that asking if people are into modding and showing a modded case is showing off 'your' mods. you weren't, I know that now, but the confusion isn't that hard to understand so don't get so offended. |

Sounds like inductive reasoning fails again.
Windows and lights are garish, if you ask me. If you want to add some fans to your case, great. It's a computer, not a Honda Civic.
Oh man. Water cooling.. that reminds me of the days where the next fastest chip came out in increments of 100 mhz, not 500. Quake 2 was the game of choice for squeaky-voiced nerds everywhere, and the more l33t ones were bragging about how their badass p2-450 had to use liquid nitrogen cooling just to keep that shit from overheating while it rendered q2dm1.bsp at a blazin' 60 fps.
2 years later, the chips are 2.2 ghz, but the fans are the exact same size.
Extreme. |
