Evening!

I've just started practicing colours, and I need some creative input.
This is what I've got.

I didn't bother about the details or anything. Just wanted to get an idea about how colours work and how they don't. The basics. I've read the theory, but after doodling for a while I feel kind of lost. So any suggestions are welcome.

This is the original sketch. Rather hasty shading here, no need to mention that Wink

Thanks!

I think it looks awesome, maybe a little too blue toward the bottom though?

Thanks Tinusch! Yeah, a little too blue. I felt like doing some kind of fadeout in blue, but it didn't come out the way I wanted it. I guess it wasn't a good idea Smile

Colors within what context? What is your goal? Realizm, cartoonish look, comics, personal style? If you are just after developing a personal style, then do whatever you like best. Personally, I like your colors in the second pic best. Nice work.
