The weather's getting warmer now so I hope to see many more people come out this Sunday! Especially my buddy that promised me he'd show up for the first time!... You know who you are!

Bigger is better!! As many of the Toronto subway sketchers know, I've been using a tiny little sketchbook (about 5 x 7in) with pen for a good while now. Well today I decided to use letter size paper with a good ol' pencil and I have to say that I was loving it! It felt like I was freed from a tiny little confined cell and into an open playground of endless space to draw.
Here they are... hope you like em.

Amazing to think as I looked at each sketch that each one is a real person in real life. Incredible and an ingenious idea Bobert!
Looks like you've also sketched people that actually mind you drawing them and they're not liking it. Thats funny
It must be a cold place most the time in Toronto. I noticed in most of your sketches people wearing overcoats and warm clothing.
I live in Australia so I dont have the pleasure of joining this group. Would be interesting.
Digital_Bobert, it would also be interesting to see a few actual photographs of some of the people you sketch. Dont know if that could be acheived though. Just a thought.
Keep it up! Excellent stuff!!! |

Immortal_Souls - I don't think taking photos of the people will be possible. People won't like that too much. Thanks for stopping by!
Jussi - I've had formal animation training eventhough I don't animate anymore.
Been getting into sharpie sketches lately...
