Flew down to the Bay area and did nothing but burn myself in the sun and sketch while getting paid not to work (love my PTO). Unfortunately, I have no scanner and no digicam...
However, here is one I did tonight to keep my digital muscles from atrophying. I should look into casting off all semblence of a social life and taking classes again; I especially need to work on lighting and color theory.
You guys are great, really good work in the last few pages; especially SquarePixel, Luc, Viag, M@, speculart, P-Rik, rainart, and ecsdesign.

Thanks 3Nasty, the pirate was 2-3 hours in painter while watching/listening to Grizzly Man movie. This is about an hour, painter as well. I was trying to use watercolor to simulate turp washes / thin oils. Can anyone suggest a better way to simulate that in painter?
