Wow...really long time no postings from me...haha Been really busy with freelance work and I worked with Lexus on a few commercials as an environment concept illustrator back in February. The commercials started airing a few weeks ago on national tv here in the US. Digital Domain did the CG work(compositing, animation, modeliong, texturing, etc...) for the entire campaign. The production designer wanted a very specific look-somewhat realistic and light-looking. Because in film or commercials....you do what the production designer says...haha. I wanted the illustrations to be darker and moodier because you can hide more things on the set and its less work for DD. But, in the end, DD and the director made it how I originally wanted it. Dark and moody Smile

The final concept illustrations and commercials are below:

Gotta get back to work!

Hey, FallDamage.

I don't have any new ones at the moment. I'm trying to get back into the workshops, but I'm too swamped with work Sad

When I do get some new drawings, I'll make sure to post them!

I've been noticing these on TV lately. Very few commercials impress me. But I really liked the last image above, the wood and metal floor in the commercial looked great.

Of course I didnt care about the car, just the environment Smile

Thanks guys...it was a fun project to work on. Very artistic as far as commercials go.

B0b is right....I have Firefox and all you have to do is right click, the prompt will come up that says "right clicking not allowed" and then another prompt will come up to where you can save the image.

Thanks man...we were trying to get a good mixture of materials in the shots. If you've ever seen any of the really nice car factories like the Audi plant in Europe, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Very nice work! Both the concepts and final products, love the transitions and general look of the shots.
