Is there a way to access the clipboard contents on a remote computer on a home network? That would be really helpful if possible...
For example, if I have Photoshop running on one computer and copy an image into the clipboard on a second computer that's on the same network, can I access the second computer's clipboard from the first computer and paste the image into Photoshop? _________________ HonePie.com

bijarts... I have a two monitor system on my main computer (a laptop) and a second laptop (on my network) which I use for reference material. Occasionally I need to cut and paste from the reference material. It's helpful to be able to just do it directly with the clipboard. That little program Bob mentioned works beautifully for that purpose.

thats a crazy looking setup u got there!
do u have an external keyboard attached to your main laptop?
also to control your second laptop from your main machine - you should look at running synergy i run it on my sys so i can just move my cursor to the left of my main display to take control of my laptop so i can check my e-mail, chat etc
it says it merges the clipboard into 1, but only for text, i can't get it to copy and paste images.. |

yepsir... fullsize keyboard for my main laptop and a small keyboard for the 2nd laptop... The picture below is garishly flash lit... it definitely is more conducive to creativity in its low lit normal working condition.
The whole setup (except for the 2nd laptop's LCD monitor) packs up into one case for travel to wherever... even the coffee cup warmer...
In the carry-on traveling case:
o Main laptop
o Kensington laptop holder (holds main laptop vertical)
o small LCD monitor for resources
o 2nd laptop
o Wacom tablet
o 2 keyboards
o 3 external hard drives (lower right side in photo)
o coffee cup warmer
...so, send me an airline ticket and I'll pack up my studio and come visit you anywhere in the world...
