Thanks y'all.
Mr Blonde, did that last one start with photo elements, or was it all paint?
This one had more life before I started tinkering with color and value in the menus, now that I have a sec to sit back and evaluate...

wanted to join in but i couldn't come up with anything worthwhile
I have no idea why I cam up the same angle of face, tall building and clouds, twice in a row completely not-deliberately. my imagination is beached like a whale.
it amazes me how all these new great pictures are coming from a lot of the same guys as a while back. The sijun crew are a talented bunch of boys now.

Toobi, thanks, I love the simple style of that pic, and the way you make it look easy to achieve that. Hell, maybe it was easy for you, but drawing and painting ppl intimidates me. So I'm easing myself into it.
Thom, I always love the color you manage to achieve when you post.
Cicnimo, that's pretty impressive. How long did that take you, roughly?
Fred, interesting style there, where are you going to school?
3nasty, misc,Giz, stereo, Joe, Helltaxi-> all nice.
Things have been great around here for the last week or two, it seems.
This one gets sketchier as you move down the figure, and past the knees, dear lord; I very nearly clipped the pick at the calves, but I thought that would've been lame.

Rainart, very nice - those brushes you're putting together seem to be working quite well for you.
Luc- great as always- though to be honest, my favorite work from you was a while back when you were colorizing black pen sketches in a similar manner. The contrasts created in those images made the pic as a whole more striking (imo of course!) Still nice though.
A study of one of my favorites from balistic's sketches. The more sedated (ie- not dodge/burned into oblivion) color he uses is a direction I'd really like to move in.

Hey thanks FD. I had to do a double take when I saw those images
