Hiho, just wanted to bring in a quick "Hello"!

I'm fresh to the game here, but been messing around a little at digitaldecoy's forum.

Wow, all your stuff is so amazing, especially the Speedpaint thread, damn the quality of each page is simply amazing!

Hope to catch some good inspiration's and learn from the masters...

M@, I don't know a crap about stuff, but the for me, I tend to look at the same direction than the girl does. That is, out of the picture, and as you probably know, you should do the opposite.. you should direct the eye around the pic..

How to exactly do it is beyond me though Very Happy

I started messing around with that image because i wasn't pleased with it... here are the results

ranath... cool matte

luc: cool! how do you generally add color? it seems to me you use multiply layers somewhat, sort of like a glaze or wash? I would love to hear how you get suuch great stuff!

falldamage.. Dang you post a lot of work! keep on truckin!

m@: i dig the new composition... Looking forward to seeing you keep goin with it

Daryl: nice study... since the light seems to be yellow orangish the shadows should probably tend towards the purple/blue... Particularly under the chin with the white part of the jewelry I would expect to see much bluer shadows.. As of right now it feels a little bit like the colors are washed out. Very nice modelling on the head!
