Been a while since i posted anything... anyhoo...
Im only about 65% done with this image... still have to add alot of detail on the bridge itself and add something on the left side of the image to balance out the image, i would love to get some suggestions on how to improve, thanks...

Try this: If this is an image with everything on seperate layers use the rule of thirds to put the sun into the junction that would be at the lower left of the picture frame, to the left about half of what it is now, and place the montains below it, which would put the sun where the base of the cilffs are now. Leave the bridge section on the right hand side, but move the piece accordingly with the sun. What you will get is that the sun will be the first thing to draw your attention with the pieces of the bridge leading your eyes over to the right and up the bridge piece.
I have one question about the picture that I will bug you about: how can the cords leading fron the tower still stretch out when they're not connected to the bridge surface or the other tower. By tension they would go out for a bit but then would drop downward. _________________ "It's not the tools you use but how you use them that counts." |

to answer your question... i picture those wires as massive collection of metal strands... im not sure if you have ever seen how those wires were made on the goldengate bridge but they arnt weak slack wires.. they hold their form a bit..
at least thats what i would imagen would happen... who knows?
small update.. i think its about 70% done
the "hunter" is just a rough outline no real detail yet _________________ ~ Jorge "Nirox" M |

Hi,
This is some great stuff...love the depth you've brought in. Beautiful colors, too...looking forward to seeing it finished! _________________ Crimson Crescent |

Apart from the fact, that I like the colors very much,
I have one thing that bothers me a bit, although I am not sure if I'm not understanding the picture correctly.
The part of the brigde, the planey thing, on the right side which is closer to the viewer?, shouldn't it be a bit higher?
I also see in the rear one, the plane is on the third horizontal bar (sorry for the wierd expressions, I hope you can find out what I mean) and on the front on it is on the fourth.
Or is it going down the hill that much?
But it just doesnt look so pleasing. |
