What i want to do is fly to London to visit my friend. Then 1 week later fly to Beijing, China. I have two questions (im using expedia.com and priceline.com)

1. The Multi-destination ticket for USA->England->China costs $3000+
While two seporate tickets USA->England, England->China is $950 total. So what the hell does that mean?

2. On priceline it says that i can't purchase tickets for departures anywhere except from US. On expedia it doesn't say anything, but im afraid it won't let me purchase the tickets seporatly.

What to do?!! :S

I'd take the risk because London's aiirport seem to be quite large. so it is possible to get nice prices to long destinations from a pretty woman with a logo :). I found good prices from London to Canada 2-3x times lower than swedish :) I'd run stockholm-london-vancouver :D I wonder if I'd get very low prices to tokyo also?

did you look at english (UK) priceguide?

Yes, i've looked at English priceline.co.uk website.
Wouldn't the price be really high if i bought it at the airport a few days before departure?

Actually it's strange.. i compared US->England ticket and England->China ticket. And actually, one is cheaper to buy well in advance, while the other gets more expensive on later dates.

I think it would be perfect to buy two one-way tickets. I dont see why i cant buy tickets with departure from UK since that's what roundtrip and multi-dest. tickets do anyway.

Thank you.
I think i'll buy a ticket to England online, and buy one to China from there, at the airport.

It means you save money. There's no reason not to get them, 950 is a ridiculously small amount of money for a trip like that. Sure, you'll end up more hassle on the way home, you'll have to go back to London and from there back to the US, which means you're taking the long way back around instead of across the Pacific from China...but who cares if you save 2000 bucks.

Yes, i know that Very Happy
However, im going one-way and i already bought the tickets from expedia. The price was $274 for NYC->London flight and $682 for London->Beijing. I had to pay shipping twice though, since tickets came from 2 different locations.
