Hello,

Some new illustrations that I can show, because they were recently released :
A cover for a Tolkien book "The Book of Lost Tales II" and another for a Marion Zimmer Bradley "The Forbidden Tower".
The upper parts are empty because of the graphic layout : just the title and a fifth silver color.
Sometimes I'm a little disappointed with my stuff once printed, sometimes the graphic layout enhance them.

The second cover of a comic-book in which I've done also some interior pages, just to learn more about storytelling and practising some special technics for rendering color pages as fast and as efficiently than I can.
It's still about the "legends of the Round Table" and this one focused on the Deer God, Cernunos :

Another kind of rendering, for a mage cover (White Wolf Publishing) :

This one is really interesting, it was fun to do. This version is my own and not the published one because I was asked about some changes.
I've used some stuff (for the Character with the skull) that I've done just after coming back from the ConceptArt Pragues workshop where I was invited as an instructor. After sharing and looking at Coro and Andrew Jones stuff.
Particularly the way Andrew was using other tools (Z-brush), and abstract patterns to build new shapes.
I find my own way to developp this point just with photoshop and a library of 2d patterns.
(For more info about the next Montreal workshop, take a look at the Concept Art board :
http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=60128
http://conceptart.org/forums/announcement.php?f=73
)

Some sketches done at "les Utopiales", the biggest european ScifFi convention, where they gave me an award and a big exhibition there.
People asked me about Spawn, so that's what they got, but twisted versions :

And finally, the usual "Merlin" preview (our 130 fully illustrated pages artbook with my buddy Jean-Sbastien Rossbach)

----------------
Update :
Last week, the miniatures game "Dreamblade" was released by Wizards of the Coast.
I've done all the packaging illustrations for this game (the illustrations are currently appearing as wallpaper on the Wizards website mainpage)
I remember finishing them six months ago, just before going to the Conceptart Pragues workshop.

For other details about the images, I was given all the original concept arts and sometimes prototypes photos of the
miniatures. So I was asked about making attractive illustrations with this characters, for packaging.
I got color schemes to follow, created for the game.
You can have a look at the miniatures here :

oh wow.
These are absolutely stunning!
My favorites have to be the second, and eighth.
Your details are amazing...everything is amazing!
I'm sorry I have nothing very constructive to say--these just simply blew my mind.

I think these are very well drawn, but I have to say that each and every one of them is almost without no sense of space. They're so flat and 2-dimensional.
