Hi
I'm new to painter and have version 9, I have seen online tutorials showing someone who has made a brush size and opacity custom palette, I have made a few custom brush palettes but can't work out how to make a size, opacity one! can someone help plz

Well, you could drag a brush to the custom palette, then go back to the original, change the brush size and save as a different size and drag that to the same palette, and so on for as many varied sizes as you'd like.
You can then repeat the steps, but change the opacity and save in various opacities.
So, different size and opacity versions of the same brush.
I prefer to hold down option/Apple key, (I think Apple key is command on PCs) and drag the brush size larger or smaller. I haven't discovered an easy way to change opacities on the fly, (that doesn't mean it can't be done, I just don't know the trick). |

For opacities you can press the keys 1 up to 0 (0 beeing 100% opacities)
Unfortunately this changes it only in tener steps. |

I'm trying to discover a way to map opacity settings to the buttons or touchstrips on my Wacom3, haven't figured out a trick for that. Any thoughts? |
