He explained quite a few pages back that he won't be doing the speedpaints as much from now on (or maybe not at all--can't remember his exact words). Essentially, he's done enough of them that he's hitting diminishing returns in the time spent and what he's able to get out of them. I'm sad to see him move on, but also happy for him, because he's now onto the next phase of his journey. |

About your question...:
In fact modeling is very basic (for this picture)...and i paint details over 3d, calculating several pass (shader) and try to create a good texture...but 3d is just a simple base for working in photoshop...
It's different for each matte. Matte 3d ou 2d. But it's very fun to use several techniques and software.
Work with good brush !! That is the life

Meh, another Chun Li for you guys. I'm actually half satisfied with how this one turned out. It took way too long though. I think my biggest problem is not hitting the right values straight away and slowly picking my way to them.
