Hey guys! Well, it's been a while, but everything's back up and running here at Blink Manor! We've had to rennovate the servant's quarters, and the entire West Wing has been given over to Marky's new home-built server, which now houses the entire on-line Blink Twice prescence. Apparently, when we play the demo of Malcolm Magic and the Very Cherry Sherry the lights down in the valley village dim. The swimming pool's gone, and in it's place is an all-new Kustom built st-st-studio, with a new staff of 15 "secretaries" (being traditionalists, we've asked the girls to keep dressing as if it were still a pool. Ahem.)...
...what does it all mean? Well, MORE postings, and MORE comics and MORE nutsy fun than EVER before! Stick around, folks, I hope you dig what we're doing!

Hey folks! Well, after that typically random and off-subject message on Monday, let's get down to the good stuff proper! Those who used to check out our old thread may well remember this pic, taken from Malcolm Magic issue Eight:
Well, due to the page/time restictions on that issue, I never really felt we had the space to show the real scale of the battle between Tonka and all those Pinchers, so I had another go at it in the form of this B&W splash page for the new Malcolm Trade. I still don't think it has quite the "epic" quality I was after, but it certainly opens the fight up a bit, and I hope gets across the anarchy of the scene. I think colour/a few nice dust effects would have helped make it clearer that Tonka's punching the ground, and sending all the Pichers flying, but it's B&W for now, so sit back, and enjoy "Tonka's Escape"!
More soon, folks!

Hey Godwin! Hoho! That's great feedback! Thanks, pal! Hope you like today's!
Friday! Sweet, sweet friday! And what better way to start your weekend then surfing around a cool comics forum such as this and taking in the new stuff all us guys are offering up for your eyeballs! Hope you're all gonna have a great weekend, and that this little slice of new Malcolm funniness makes you smile!
Sorry there's been a couple of images that are kinda ads in the last two posts, that's just how they are on our site, and I gotta link to the site image! I'm not a salesman, I promise! Hoho!
See you all on Monday guys with a new Full colour image and a link to a place you can download it as an A3 high res poster to print and enjoy!

Crazy stuff! Did you really draw all those squirrely things one by one by hand or did you clone them in Photoshop? Anyway, nice stuff. Now some crits: In the first picture it was a bit of a searchjob to see the main figures. Maybe you could lighten the background around them a bit more, make them stand out without losing your contrast with the ice/glass(?) pieces. For the rest it looks like a lot of fun. |

Hey, Aman! Thank you so much, man! Yep, I drew them all, every damned one of 'em! Yeah, you're so right about the MOON! cover image, a few folks have said that, i think I need to do just what you say and adjust the values to really help the focus. I'm on it!
Thanks for the helpful feedback, hope you like today's pic!
Well, then...Goooooooooooog morning, peoples!
Here it is, Monday, and time for one more piece of Blink Madness before I dissappear down a very dark hole to put the finishing touches to MM09, MMBOOK3, and another of those indecently large displays I build for each and every convention we do...phew!
So, I promised it on Friday, and I deliver today! Here, for your perusal, is the poster we were asked to produce for the UK WEB AND MINI COMIX THING, a celebration of all things comics-based in the world of web and small press here in the UK.
This image is also your first chance to see just WHAT THE DANG the interior art will look like on the forth coming and much-anticiapated (by us, at least!) MOON! series. That's right, kids, this is the INTERIOR art. Want 20 pages of this full-colour stuff bi-monthly delivered to your local comic book store? Then stay tuned, 'cos MOON!'s comin', and it's gonna be every bit as exciting as I know you're hoping it'll be! Or something...
Not good enough for ya, huh? Well, how about a 300dpi PRINTABLE A3 version of this poster? Okay, well go RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW! and click the thumbnail on the right to open it up and print it out for your local comic book store, your studio, your bedroom, or just to paste onto anyone who passes you in the street! Enjoy, folks, it's our pleasure!
So, next week I'll be starting a new thread, full of Hot Rods, Kustoms, and other such nutso contraptions, see ya' there!
