City ...
I learn a lot from here ! The best way to learn i think.
Try to work with surface and edge without glowy brushes ...
Spooge >> A pleasure to learn from you !
Theo >> Nice dynamic picture !
DangerousLlama >> Ha ha ! I can recognise your style easily. Nice picture !!

Spooge: Wonderful again. I love the way the scattered sun lightens the shadows, where I would expect them to be darkest, and darkens some distant areas. A beautiful exception to what I learned.
About the glow and overlay: I wish I could use these tools to my needs. Once I learned that I'll remember your advise.
About criticism: It seems many don't criticise unless they are upset about something. Let's criticise more, just for practice!
Cicinimo - fantastic too
ecsdesign - gorgeous. Is this what rembrand did? Somebody tell me please...
Mitsui - you must be a cheerful guy. There is (almost) alway happiness in your pictures!
Seth1 nice studies!
Lingy-0 - smasher!
Duracel - good to see you again! Inspiring!
Mon - Ouch!!!
Theo - you did it again!
mullins study
I created this background trying to resemble old paper. Probably adds to my cheese factor...

Spooge> These detailed pictureas are near perfect no doubt, but I miss your fresh rapid sketches. I know that casual viewers usually don't conceive them (and no benefit, yes) but for artists they are like candies you know :)
Duracel> the one with a... kind of monkey is very cool :) And all recent stuff too
Mon> sick one. I love it! :)
P-Rik> great paintings lately
Stephan, CrazyBrush, Theo-W-P., Ecsdesign > very nice
No glow I promise :)

I uploaded a zip-file with all of spooges work i have saved on my harddrive.(including every picture you can reach via his gallery and a lot of other stuff - dozens of pictures he kept out of his portfolio, a few overpaints(if someone still has overpaints i missed(a lot, i guess :/), plz contact me!) and his 3 very-old and vers short .mov-Videos(not as spectacular) and his opencanvas.wpe-file)
All together 160 MB download.
I'll keep an eye on my traffic(i can suffer about 60 downloads), so feel free to mirror this zip-file!

Thanks to duracel for advice.... I lost patience with this so the shapes etc are a bit unrefined, but I want to leave it now...

3nasty, thanks
Bandados, nice one
Duracel, thanks for sharing the collection. It's nice to have such a gallery.
CrazyBrush, thanks. I guess I like it more because it has more potential for realism than the first one. Just have to continue working.
Inspired by the opencanvas record inside Duracel's archive. Wanted to try out Spooge's technique
