These are some of my more experimental pieces, I'll update the thread as I finish them. Photography/paint mix.

Probably the rawest pic i have seen for along while. I like it, especially how the muscels are rendered and the color scheme.

Thanks everyone , I'm experimenting with a shift in subject matter from my commercial work so there will be more to come. I'll edit the header as I add more.
kalakal: I derive inspiration from all I admire, and Chris Cunningham is certainly someone I do, but this piece wasn't inspired directly from him. The 'Come to Daddy' video is probably what you're thinking of (and what a brilliant work that was). Have you seen 'Rubber Johnny' yet? The direction I'm pulling for in these, is more Goya and Anthony Goicolea. _________________ Kieran Yanner

Max: lol I do see the similiarities... I played Doom3 for 30 minutes then took it back, i couldnt handle the constant suspence!
NeFF: For pieces that don't contain nudity I will. But I don't want 'clear nude shots' of my friends floating about :-/ Especially people in the military lol. _________________ Kieran Yanner

NeFF: this is something im currently working on. I may go back to the original idea but im not sure. The original piece had a see of bodies crawing toward him. I think i took this route out of laziness...
The figure below posed naked so i wont include that shot but I've included the shot for the Puppet Master above.

I really like the first and second picture!
Well, the colors, composition and everything might by excellent, but in the end i don't care, because you've got the feeling! _________________ Lars Gtze

Tomasis, I agree with you...For some reason this picture makes me feel good....It's kinda happy...even with the blood. Which is wierd given the context! I like it though. Looking forward to more!! _________________ Say whaaaaaaaat? |

This is a 'widescreen' format piece. I'll be doing a series of these for my site when i decide on a design..... i have issues with stagnation.
