Good old Spooge is on fire! These new works are the finest. ..or is it hunger making the taste so sweet? :))

Guys who can't open the page> Try proxy or try to open it at night. The problem shouldn't have anything to do with the adress.

What issue? His site works fine. His new works are wonderful. He's busy producing art and making money, so he's not hanging out here. So???

He doesn't owe you anything, be it "sharing" his works OR his time!

Go draw something instead of worrying about where productive artists are. They're being productive!

Of course he doesn't owe us anything, but it would be great if he could post again in the speed paint thread because each paint by him is a lesson.
I know, I know,... he's busy working hard, that's very good news indeed. I just say It would be great.
By the way, this is my first post. Hello everybody! I've come to learn from you all! Very Happy

It's strange. I get a 403 when I try to access goodbrush with Firefox, but it opens up fine with Internet Explorer on the very same connection (dial-up).

No proxies open, nothing.

Just because it fits in this thread and there might be someone who does not know it yet: goodbrush.com had a major update (50+ new pics) with work from Narnia, AOE3 and other great stuff...

From my working place I did not get access to goodbrush.com until the company moved to another buildung. I guess we obtained a new IP-adress and since then it worked fine. Perhaps you could try one of those "dynamic IP"-Websites which serve as kind of a router (sorry, dont really know how it works). Its possible that goodbrush.com has blacklistet some servers over the world that caused too much traffic.

www.goodbrush.com is still working just fine.

Maybe someone should contact his ISP and find out why some people in some areas can connect and some can't.

spooge crawls in through and open window...

I have been working on other things, yes, playing with new baby, etc.

I don't think I will be posting much in the SP thread, as I feel the benefit of doing another 400 speed paintings might be less than the first 400, or rather the time might be spent better doing something else. So I have been working on real stuff more, putting more effort into that. By real I mean paint and paying work.

And a bunch of other factors that I won't even go into.

I believe that the IP blockings are due to the server detecting an IP from which a trawler has been used. In some cases it seems a range of addresses has been blocked. The bandwidth used by goodbrush is large, and was becoming extremely large, mostly due to the use of trawlers. So neverlan.net (bob, where did you get that other host from? I hope neverlan is not subing it out...) put the block on there. It seems to be blocking quite a few people, I will mail Neverlan and see what can be done.

spooge, I see that you know what are you doing. I only wish you best luck with future works. I see a lot of amazingly good newcomers in SP thread. So you dont have worry ;)

I sometimes wonder about the usefullness of sh!tting quick sketches and calling 'em speedy with a "10min used" disclaimer.. so I understand what you mean.

It would be very nice to see if you're doing more traditional paintings, if that's what you meant by "paint". Anyways, all the best, whether you participate here or not.

hey Spooge! good to have u back on the boards even if it is a flying visit Wink

i did a lookup on the IP ur site is hosted through and came up with NetHere..

Search results for: 66.63.150.165 << ur website IP

NetHere Inc. NETHERE (NET-66-63-128-0-1)
66.63.128.0 - 66.63.159.255
I Street Media NTHR-I-STREET-2 (NET-66-63-150-160-1)
66.63.150.160 - 66.63.150.175

# ARIN WHOIS database, last updated 2006-01-23 19:10

looks like Neverlan have a deal with NetHere Inc. as their website is also the same IP..

Craig, your one of my favorite artists of the current digital art years. You've inspired me to jump into a career involved with art. It used to be a hobby now I am working at making it a career. Thank you for the inspiration and best of luck to you with all that you do. I hope to one day be even close to the level of talent that you are.... Enough jabbering, time for some painting/drawing. Later and thanks again.
