Hey sijuners
Here's a cover I did for a book and it was a new experience for me with all that many characters in the same context, it was interesting and a test on patience as it took longer than any other image I've done. The empty space is for title and text.
Your input is treasured, thanks for watching.

looks nice
technical crit: shell case ejection seems to be on the wrong side of the gun - majority of guns eject on the right hand side.
the slide on the top of the pistols isn't in the process of sliding back to expell the empy cases..
muzzle flash seems a bit weak |

Zombies' shirts look freshly washed. That's not likely in the real world =D _________________ Endorphin,

The folds on the clothes don't seem to make much sense somehow. The coat sleeves look far too big for the character. I would imagine a foggy day to have a more diffuse light and less black shadows.
With that said i would just like to suggest that the composition would have been more interesting if you had done it from a different angle. Maybe if the zombies had him surrounded, or with the camera looking upwards at the hero...or maybe with him climbing up on some obstacle seen from above with the zombies all around him...
bob, Muzzle flashes are quite discrete in real life...at least nowhere near the flame-thrower quality they have in action movies. _________________ It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice - Scooter |
