I made this in Illustrator. It's based on the lovely fairytale of Hansel and Gretel, of course, and their adventures with a cannibalistic witch.
At the moment there are some things I don't like about the image - would anyone suggest I make some changes?

Really like it...
The style used to create the background seems different from the foreground. The smoke coming oput of the chimney doesn't work well for me. It looks like the same stuff the house is made from - candy - seems like it should be wispier.
Like the skull in the yard...

Eyewoo, I agree the chimney smoke looked a bit too 'candy-like'. I tried making it wispier, but nothing came out how I wanted, so I ditched the smoke altogether. How does it look now?
I added an eerie fog.

I like it, reminds me of the garbage pail kids cards.
But I think you got the names wrong, In my book their names are Hans and Greta.
