looks nice.
But I think you need to tweak it a bit more to hide the more obvious use of standard photoshop brushes (grass) and maybe try to use the dodge tool a little less, to get more variations in highlights of the colors.

The lighting here is awsome! Those Horse Veins superb! I think that you should put a small shine in the horses eye 'cause I don't know where it is and it looks wierd and also see above comment. I agree.
Great work though! Keep it up! _________________ Say whaaaaaaaat? |

NeFF, insane007:
Thx! Actually I had quite a dilemma with the blurriness. It's supposed to help tgetting the focus on the girl, but I agree with you both. Maybe its better achieved through less contrasts in the background.
Supervlieg:
Yeah, I need to use more custom brushes and textures. And get a install of painter that works (the one I have now suddenly got all colours inverted, does anyone have an idea of whats up?) You are right about the abuse of dodge too, I have to be more selective and us it alot only on one or two places. Anyway, I got to stop being so lazy.
Amilee:
Thx, I did try to add some reflection to the eye but didnt get any satisfactory result. I suppose I have to do some research to find photos/paintings with a similar effect that works to see how it can be done. |

nice lighting. only 1 or 2 other problems. The eyes of both the girl and the horse. maybe more details on the girl's face. her nose seems to be looking the wrong way. the horse's rump, i feel, shouldn't be showing that much too.
keep up the good work, though!! _________________ "Open Your Eyes and Listen" |
