Welcome back Dhabih!

Hmm, now that I think about it, I haven't really been active here for the past 6 months or so, either. I suppose the... Internetlessness of the art school I attend may have something to do with that. Razz

Ah well. Merry Christmas everyone!

Well, well, well . . . if isn't Dhabih. I should've taken care of you in Zurich when I had the chance.

Razz

Actually good to hear from you and am looking forward to your new site. Hope the Holidays have been good and see you soon.

That's what you said... FIVE YEARS AGO!! lol

We can make SO MANY jokes just from the fact that you didn't appear on the forums for ...not weeks, not months.. but for MANY YEARS! Wink

It's cool though. Why dont you give a small summary of what happened to you in all these years? Must be a lot of sh*t.
For example.. after i was inspired to enter gaming industry by your art, i was a bum for a few years.. and now i'm trying to enter the gaming world AGAIN! ha.
Many oldskool people left the forums, like faustgfx, kurisu.. not fun Sad
Oh well. Marry christmas. Thanks for coming back, old chap.

I think we should be more friendly and welcoming. Otherwise we might scare him away, I bet it was our fault last time too.

Smile

heh. Fact is, I've wanted to be more involved for awhile now but just couldnt find the time. Also i'm getting married in 2 weeks and plan to be home more often than before because of it. i figured i'd be able to spend a bit of time at least every couple days to maintain the site and be involved in the forums.

maybe the smart thing to do was to just try to do this first before promising anything and not repeat the mistakes of last time.... hmm.....

ok ignore everything between this line and the top of the page Wink

also in terms of a summary of the last few years. ya. pretty much trying to ship Halflife2 would be a good summary. And the last year? recovering from trying to ship Halflife2 Shocked

Welcome to the married club! Best thing I ever did was to get married. Been over 3 years now and still loving it.

Make sure you post wedding pics of you and the Mrs.! I think all of us who got married since becoming a Sijun member has posted our wedding pictures here, so you have to too!

Hey Dhabih,

Very glad to see you back at it again. I signed up a long long time ago and didnt get the chance to join in on all the fun, but I am working my way into things. I am almost finished with college, and am looking to a few jobs in entry level 3d modeling. I started looking at your site when I was like 15 or 16ish, and am 21 now. (Your warrior tut page got a lot of hits from me lol). Glad to say I know someone that works at Valve Software, Maybe I'll make it in theere someday as a modeler. Take it easy man, Congrats on the wedding, and have a great new year. I'll be here a lot more now that I have a bit more time.
