here is a illustration of my father when he was younger. He used to be an amateur and proffessionnal wrestler in canada and us where he lives now. make in ps+wacom

Wonderful illustration!!!
brought back many memories also, actually just clicked on your link and thought, Wow, that's MadDog Vachon! so much a part of visits at my grandfathers, wrestling was always on and there was MadDog vs Gange (sp) and Mr X, marty o'neill.... ah.... was always entertaining in a wrestling way...
and your illustration is wonderful, and right on, it wasn't until after I reminesed I reread your entry and noted your name...
I'm certain he's very proud. |

I grew up with a big painting of this picture but it went all up in smoke in a fire we had when i was 13-14. I saw my father in december for the first time in 3 years, he came to montreal for some tv interview and i thought of doing this ill as a gift and tribute. just need to adjust some details and print/laminated the work. |
