O no - first place!
Hey M@: dont call P-Rik a prik! beautful towers btw.
P-Rik: The b/w-before-color guy has some disturbing warm+cold shadows, which may resulf from the color overlay...
luc: you really rock lately. Totally different from a few month ago (e.g. femme asie)
Freebooter: nice snowscape, and the swordman looks good too. No matter how many hours you spent. You didn't beat a dead horse (in terms of composition and anatomy).
Excuse me for jabbing like I knew anything about painting. But I'm sort of a pro (or should I say pro-stitute) of art, (to falldamage, who asked) but I come here to be myself like an amateur...
I call this postcoital sadness after drug inflicted intercourse

colour, composition, creative use of various aspects of ps (I also happen to like the images - uh, well sometimes ).
It is one more facet of my artmaking.
Actually I see alot of imagery in them - but thats just me. *shrug*
btw - very nice still life!
Flaskpost - powerful image
p-rik - very nice work
m@ - always good!
jr - very nice brushwork

inspired by jr: this turned out a bit more rip-offish than I had intended. I'll take it off if you want.

P-Rik, this one with the girl go upstairs is great.
I guess we need even more pictures with a story behind! Most of the work here is so damn trivial.
I guess its the curse of speedpainting.
A Test to check if its useful to speed up a bit ... well, i don't really think so. (about 6-12minutes per thumbnail)
And one for the Gallery:

GordMacDonald I see what you mean. But doing only loose and fast pieces wont get me any paying job. Repulsive, yes, but I need to learn how to polish my work. BTW, the skin in your speedies don't look like skin, too much contrast.
Lingy-o, thanks.
Omi-kun, nice young chubby girlie you have there.
Miles, thanks for the support. Nice mood in your pic.
Very fast and loose sketch.

When he was a young boy his parents were too poor to buy him a hat. All the kids at school teased him about it and called him Hatless Joe. From that day, at the age of 8, he vowed that one day he would have revenge against all hat wearing people!
At the age of 14 he entered ninja highschool, but did not reveal his real intentions to the masters. Upon graduation he began stealing hats from random people on the streets. He currently lives like a hermit in a large warehouse filled with stolen hats. |

Duracel - your thumbnails are wonderful. The 'finished' speedpaint is awesome in its clarity and precision.

Joe84 >>> Ive been very into these kinds of sketches lately, trying to work alot with posin, contrast and so on so the limbs and the details just gets left out,and I have never been into detail-work.But Ive got some more "complete" stuff lying around I think, and they will get here as soon as I get back my digicam
Luc >>> I have always been more "artistic" I guess than plain "skilled" if you like,so some parts almost ALWAYS gets lost in the process. It goes pretty fast sometimes But im getting there!
Thanks for the comment and crit, means alot and I feel very at home at this forum.
Another messy,no-limbs-attached-freak... And oh,they are three.
