Thanks Omi, but remember that it was an SD study, so not original.
Lookin forward to 2k7 This is painted over some geometry I whipped up. I haven't quite figured out the texturing thing yet (just got an old copy of maya off someone who didn't need it last week, so I've been toying), so I still paint over my 3d work.
Somewhat photo based, but a lot of that was lost. This was going to be a strict study, but then it wasn't.

Gord, nice colors,... what is it? :p
Lingy,Sean both nice lighting. Sean, I like the way the light plays in the rafters at the top of your pic, and Lingy, the reflected ground light ont he sword is pretty sweet.
Another SD study. I wish those Dvd's would come out. I don't buy much, but I'll seriously evaluate forking money over for them.

Thanks gord, sometimes I'm not the best person to interpret anything close to abstraction, so don't mind me.

Thanks omi, concerning the lips, I'm not used to takeing on faces, so I'm hoping improvment will come with time.
Mitsui, I love those little red noses with the doted highlight- thats the focus of the whole image for me.
mant-raz -definitly some action in that pic- hockey?
Zombat, nice symmetry on the ship, that's a problem for me.
Symmetry is my Enemy.
This started well, but things took a turn for the worst and it was getting late, so she got dodged, burned and kicked out the door.
I did this as an addendum to kathrine dinger's eye tut.

Falcon, excellent color, contrast and texturing and comp. Were you the one that used to do a lot of spawn related stuff?
Omi-kun, Thx, and I don't think you've forgotten how to draw mechs, the design on the bike is solid.
Again with the quicky mullins imping.

lingy-o (thanks -- ripped the colours straight from the fraz pic i was inspired by, but i'll take the compliment), falldamage (thanx, but what 3d work is that? u mean the mp's on my blog?), bandados (great study), skywalker (thanks -- been really working to develop my drawing -- basic construction, line of action, stronger silhouettes etc. over the last few months, so glad your liking it), ddecoy (nice orc), flaskpost (thanx), duracel (like that - there's good motion in the forms), falcon (thank you sir -- as you know, line is most important and starting to see some improvment). couple more (anyone else love Darwyn Cookes work)?

Nice seth. I used to draw a lot, but now, between digi painting and trying to learn 3d, I find that I'm arted out. I've broken out my loomis for painting though, and I'm starting to check things out and scheme out measurments and proportions before I paint.
Duracel, is that the alien from the recurring Duck Dodgers loony toons thing? I can't remember what that thing looks like, but that makes me think of it.
Chris, awesome light and texture, painter still scares me.
Stephan, it's great the way that's so loose without looking messy.
Mant, Warhammer inspired?
Omi, how much of your mech design is Battletech inspired?
Ranath, nice environ as per usual, you never have much to say tho!
Varg, completely Silent Hill
Neff, great contrast between the tree and the sky there. Worked well.
Still camped out in K Dinger's art space. This one's my own with refs
