been supplied a concept from a guy for a website, claims the work is his, but the style in this changes - can u guys give me some feedback, has any1 seen this before?
to me the barrel looks like his own work as does the top, but everything else is too clean in comparison |

I have seen it now. Which I deeply regret. 
Seriously, who cares as this is very amateur stuff. It's hard to tell if he's used a ref for parts or copied someone's image, as it's quite sub standard all over. |

could have been traced or copied from two or more separate pictures... Your image is very light, so I copied it into PShop and pushed the contrast to see it better. It does appear as if the ladies' right arm and the gun were done at a different time or from a different source...
...but who knows. If the guy says it's his and assumes liability, give him the benefit of the doubt. Ask him to show you some more of his work...

From the head to the ribs, it kind of looks like Joe Madureira's style, but like eyewoo said, if it's the other guy claiming he made it, let him deal with the problems that may come with claiming it's his.

It reminds me of Nova, from Starcraft: Ghost. Check the artwork from that on Blizzard's website.
