I printed off all the loomis books from a PDF format... I usually draw out of them ever single day for at least an hour while on my lunch break. Working 2 jobs right now only gives me a limited amount of time to draw, but at least I have some time... I'll post more when I get the chance. Thanks for the comments, hope to see more. _________________ -Kyle |

You bet A good friend of mine that works for NCSoft told me to bust out as much loomis work as I can and become better at drawing, then focus on my 3D skills. If you cant draw, then most places dont want you. So..... (Grabbing my pencil once again....) All my spare time consists of Loomis work, but I have no spare time so only an hour a day sometimes 2... _________________ -Kyle |

Damn, these are great kmblackbear! You work 2 jobs and manage to draw for "only an hour a day"? Man, me and my one-job-regular-hours life need to get it together and do some more sketching! I kinda started a couple of months ago, but have since gone off the radar thanks, mainly, to the festivities. I should quit using that as an excuse now, in the middle of Jan, I guess
Oh yeah, and I couldn't register on conceptart. Hmm. Wonder if they've fixed that yet.
Time to get "back in the saddle"... cheers for the much needed dose of inspiration!
Where did you find the PDFs of loomis? I've only seen jpgs on saveloomis. Maybe I didn't look hard enough...
>goes off to check...<
Cheers,
Dave. |

Why thanks Dave. I am far from great but i'll take the compliment my friend. I have now only one job... yes I finished up last week with my other job to give me some more time to draw, except the free time hasnt opened up much more drawing time... Post some of your drawings, I need to work on my style a bit more and finish with loomis and draw my own ideas/concepts... Great learning books though
I found the loomis books on e-mule p2p network... I'm not one for downloading but I have to admit I really wanted these books, plus they are already on saveloomis.org so I didnt feel bad about downloading them and printing them for my own use/studies. I'm a poor college kid Well will be poor once I get my new computer (looking over the new amd fx 60 x2 processor )
I'll submit some more face drawings/sketches and soon some figure studies... Most important _________________ -Kyle |
