dont forget that our cable service is only two channels and we only have AM radio.
We have to buy two wristwatches one for AM for four months and one for PM for 8 months.
The only workup here is hunting seals and chopping ice for the fire.
My grampa chopped down the north pole. |

Keep away from Quebec, seriously. Taste real maple syrup if you haven't, drink beer until 3am in some strip joint and have a blast. 18's the legal drinking age up here (I think). Yeah. Have a blast (but don't tear our national igloo down, or we'll set the beavers on you, eh?) |

Hehehehe, you know I always feel that Canadians and Americans are like the boy and girl in High school that were always taking shots at each other and looked like they hated each other. Yet in reality they were in love.
Much like Molder and Scully.
Canada is really East and West, and then the 'badlands' inbetween. I personally have not visited the 'east', but from what I can gather it is very metropolis. The large cities have lots to do places to go and do. Much like large cities in the States, but all together different. I have been told by Nufie's that the maritimes are very nice in spring and Fall, you would have to contend with the laguage barrior there. (Sometimes I think that they say that so that the can make room for thier relatives here while we be gone.)
Now the West also has lots to offer. I am biast here. The Rockies are Heaven on Earth for Westreners. Vancouver and Victoria are really nice (Gone sailing when I was younger). Now Alberta has many things to go see, too. I feel that Edmonton, and Calgary are both really well rounded, but are scaled down verions. Edmonton, is the summer has the most Festivals during the summer, so there are plenty of them to go around.
I think it all really comes down to how long, you have and what you want to do. Some come to relax, some come to 'rough it', and some come to experiance. I think everyone should travel, especially between 40th parallel(?) it is an awakening.
Tell us what you want, we can help you out more. Man I sound like a Travel agent.
