It's all good except ofr the little dude doing the actual slaying. He's definitly the weakest aspect of the painting for me. He has a very super-imposed look abvout him, and he doesn't blend well with the rest of the pic. I like everything else though and think that it's a good painting overall. Just that one crit about the guy.

I agree with FallDamage, not only is the pose awkward, that dead tree in front of him is distracting, as well as that white stuff behind him. I'd make the pose more dynamic, like putting a foot up on that rock and arching his back (or rather, just curve his entire body more). Also, his free hand should be right by his face... when you let go of an arrow, you don't swing your arm out like that.

Right now the interesting part of the picture is the top half. The bottom half only explains that it is a big snake. I would probably bring the archer all the way in the foreground (in the right bottom corner), facing inward/and us, standing on the snake.
