Thanks all for the dap!
Yo, too many names too mention so...just keep believing in your art and posting your shit as much as possible. Get feedback. Ask for feedback. Whatever. Throughout, just keep at it. It'll all make sense in the end...trust me.
I've been going thru it lately...it's gonna be a test of wills FOREVER now.
Here's some memory sketches from last night. Try it out. Just study a person, or two when you're out in public. When you get home, jot down your impression of them...whatever way you see fit.

The last few pages were pretty amazing.
I'm doing a bit of a dump here... These are school assignments. The red ones are continuity drawings of what I did first this morning when I woke up, the rest are quickies from life.

Wish I was more like you Seth. You work hard. I'm lazy.
Um, the lined paper means I did this during a boring class. 5-10 minutes... too long for this scribble - but drawing the shape is hard. All pen work.
Head inspired during another class by Max Kulich's girls.

my first post in drawings.
Me noob wondering how anybody has the time to do all these speedpaintings,
only to discover they are twice as productive in drawing. You guys really rock!
For those who care for such things (mostly lurkers I guess) I collected my insights on human proportions. Surprisingly they fitted on one page...

yeah, the values were bleached out a bit by the pic... was too lazy to try and get a better shot... though i agree that i should push it further than it is irl as well
cool studies, the flexing arm is a touch wonky--and clear up that confusion at the elbow! nice value use overall, and solid represention of the musculature.
love the rear-view |

Mitsui: Thanks! I see you've gotten to the Bob Kato DVD's?

judson: really like your stuff. be interested to see your finished work too.
seth: keep it up, man. get dat mileage...IT PAYS.
buzz: nice stuff too. I like your rendering. Watch your proportions tho. Some of your figures look a little too stout. Might need an extra head meaurement.
Everybody else, keep your pencils sharp and ya eyes wide open YA HEARD!!!
I don't stay dat active on the forums like I'd like...but, trust, I be puttin it down on my OWN vittles, FOOL! (LOL!)

Mitsui: Real nice line work man! Love the sense of character comming through those sketches... Now lets see some monkeys :p
Reakshun: Yeah man, for sure! It's all ready paying off! Stuff comming togeather... Lets see some more work!
GodOfWar: Nice rendering man! Your poses seem to be a little stiff, also the middle women her shoulders seem to be a little to small, and the cape it's not showing the folds and the inner body structure... On the 3rd chick the hand looks a little small the fingers are a bit sort and stuby as well, even with the foreshorting. Cant wait for the next batch.
judson: Really feeling that wind nice sense of action in it! Also love the feel of lonlyness in the whole drawing... The hand holding the unbrella is on the wrong side, be quite hard to hold some thing like that :p Cant wait to see some more work...
frantic: Cool style! Looks like a crazy school teacher! She has a pretty manly chin, and jawline in that drawing! Keep on posting man!
buzzz3d: Nice work! Maybe push your vaules even more? Keep it comming
Wheres matthew at? Miss his work..
