Hi, long time viewer/seldom poster
I've just finished this illustration of Pinocchio for an amateur theatre company and thought I'd share it here.
It was drawn in Flash with a wacom.
I'd be interested to hear other artists opinions so feel free to comment.
Thanks
Johnny

Very nice, I like it. I wonder if there is going to be text or anything added to it to be an advertising poster? |

thank you gLitterbug!
yes, this will be used as a flyer/poster. The clients designer will add the text themselves. |

The one on the wall isn't his real shadow. It's just his human part in form of a shadow.
Look at the other objects (tool box), they have no shadow on the wall.
That would be my interpretation...anyway - Very nice image!
Wait, maybe it's the shadow of Peter Pan : ) |

Thanks Max, the shadow projected on the wall is as you say Pinoccio as a "real boy". It's magic ok? :)
the shadow beneath the puppet was actually an afterthought to " ground" the figure because it just didn't look right.
If you pay close attention to each shadow you'll notice they're all over the place!
Logic? who needs it? |
