squarepixel, digitaldecoy Shocked I need to do another forrest!
My daughter, sitting on my desk, keeping an eye on my monitor.
Unfortuately she needed to feed after I did like three brushstrokes, so it's ultraspeed and mostly no ref. But filters...

Crazy stuff people!

Miles: Thanks
Falldamage: Also thanks

Study of Spooges' "Glowy Pirate". Did NOT use the color picker( eye dropper tool) just in case someone is wondering. Took about 2 hours or so.

nice luc,

notic, don't rip on yourself, that speedie has some really good value fundamentals laid down.

digitaldecoy, great choice of colors on that one

miles, your really great at captureing human form quickly then. I've been practicing faces latley too, but I don't post em for obvious reasons.

Theo-W-P. Excellent reproduction, its too bad spooge hasn't been around lately to provide us with some new material.

AX, those orcs are fantastic man. Love em

Zombat. Nice work there, passes the squint test really well.

igino, awesome. Warhammer inspired?

I was having a nap this afternoon, and I got this vision of a picture I wanted to paint, so I jumped up and immediatly started painting. It looked nothing like this, but anyway...

cok3, what I said for gygaxis also applies here, That's Painter 9, eh?

the last one took quite a while FallDamage since i tried doin it without sketching out main proportions... went straight to painting, just not experienced enough to do that stuff yet heheh. stupid stupid mistake cost me 2 more hours due to the correcting of proportions Razz

Hot damn! No pic but had to reply. Exams are eating into my time Sad

Things are moving pretty quickly here Smile Everyone's on fire!

Falldamage - keep it up man.
Zhuzhu - diggin your last sketch.
Spyro, luc, p-rik, briscola, cok3... - Surprised Surprised Surprised

It's getting harder and harder to remember to list everyone...

One matter that's been bothering me - I can't get to Mr Spooge's site. Is it still goodbrush.com? It keeps giving me the forbidden message.

EDIT: Decided to post a pic after all. Oldie. Attempt at an owl from ref. for the summer practice thread.

Kal, great job again, your under water color choices are great.

ax--hv, sweet picture over all, and for me, particularily the sand and water. Surfacing like that takes some effort (as near as I can tell).

Walkaer, nice on the facial form there.

Hideyoshi, thats like the time frame for all of my 'speedies' and you've still got me beat, so nice work.

choboroy, I've noticed that this place speeds up and slows down, though I'm not sure what causes it.

Rolthryn, some eye catching perspective there, and the texturing is top shelf.

Bill Bach, Some mighty attractive brush work still evidient in the clouds- Styleized but still squints like the real thing.

luc, what's your name over on CA? Is it Lukavi?

zhuzhu, I'm definitly takin a closer look at that. It seems you used so few brush strokes, and yet the form is so tight. Very clean work.

Llama, good color transition there.

Omi-kun, reminds me I need to get goin on some robots of my own.

I've changed my working style a bit lately. Mostly due to having less time now than over the last few weeks, but I think it's improving. I'm never sure
:p

watmough, Just out of curiosity, how long did that take you? It looks great and fast, but I'm curious as to time frames. I tense up and agonize over simple little things in a painting, and I wonder if that's both holdin back my quality in a way, and increasing my time on even simple pics.

lingy, same deal as what I just said to wat... I really gotta loosen up or something.

Another...
