Hi everyone, I finally got my site up. Im going to be quiet and just watch and learn as much as I can Hope I am welcome to participate. If you have any suggestions for me in the future please let me know. Thanks.
Luc - I like this very much. My only suggestion is to maybe sharpen some edges selectively to guide the eye. Also, a little color variation (maybe orangeish yellow in the lower left area) would make this piece that much better. Awesome work.
Sparth - Very cool, The only thing that doesnt sit right with me is the flying ships seem to be very still. Or going the same speed as the "droids" Maybe some motion blur or jets or whipping ribbons would help. But I cant deny, your pimpin it
Pringle - I really love the last 2 you've done. The colors in the street scene are keyed together so nicely. Also the blue and red piece is very confident. and the tinge of yellow on the figures is a brilliant touch.
Capt.FlushGarden - simple and great, maybe more yellow? Some yellow tracer fire might add alot to this.
DARYL - Your piece caught my eye. I really like the soft atmosphere youve achieved here. It almost gives a sense of danger to the setting. Like no one has been alive there for a long time. It could use some smaller details I think, like rivets or panels to establish the foreground.
Rolthryn - The storm scene is my favorite of the two, very dynamic.
Naglfar - I really like the colors in this, maybe some figures could be thrown in to establish scale?
Sorry Im out of time.. Heres one I painted yesterday, please suggest anything that comes to mind.

this thread is profoundly inspiring. There are a few specific members that have taught me a lot about efficiency of shape, and color. finally busted out something like a landscape, so here goes
It's scott robertson on his way to a picnic .

Isric - very cool. I love the purity of the colors. Those shapes in the distance are great. So clean. I feel like they'll open up when he gets there to accept his ship. _________________ Hi, dont mind me. Ill just sit in the back and try to learn ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
