Hello. I'm currently working on my second painting and I need a little help getting started. My last painting was simple but now I'm working on something a bit more difficult and I'm currently stuck. So if anyone would'nt giving me a helping hand I'd greatly appreciate. it.
The first picture is the subway station I'm trying to paint. The 2nd picture is what I have so far. This is where I'm stuck at as I'm not really sure how I should approach the 2nd step. I've read a ton of tutorials on painting digitally.

I suggest redoing/fixing whatever you don't like as you go along, even if it takes a while.
I'm horrible, every time I do something like that, I end up putting the reference as an overlay. Then I end up using the eyedropper to duplicate the colors ![Crying or Very sad](images/smiles/icon_cry.gif) _________________ I just realised that my screen name is Wagner, but my last name is Wagner, I'm not making any references to anyone. |

Get messy, then refine. block in big patches of light / dark, get the colors flowing, and then noodle it as Spooge says. _________________ -Anthony

yeah just go for it.
you just gonna have to gulp and dive in there with different colours and tones all over the image and start making it work. It will look better for it after no more than 20 minutes of doing so, I reckon. Stay keen on perspective tho, that's probably the most important thing to get right in this picture, imo. |

define things here and there, add some texture. Keep it loose but with an eye on correct perspective. |
